Marks & Spencer has supported Shelter in a number of different ways over the last few years. Through the partnership Marks & Spencer aims to demonstrate a clear sense of social responsibility and support Shelter's work with families.

About the partnership

Marks & Spencer has supported Shelter through the sale of Food to Go, Gastro Pub and Charity Christmas cards, and via staff donations. The company's support has directly helped more than 3,000 families.

Our shared values

Marks & Spencer recognises that homeless and badly housed families are among the most socially excluded individuals in our society. The company has demonstrated its commitment to ending homelessness through its Business Action on Homelessness membership. It won the 2006 National Example of Excellence and Company of the Year.

In addition, Marks & Spencer also supports Shelter through Gift in Kind donations to Shelter Shops across the UK.
