This is a particularly pertinent relationship as UNITE is actively committed to improving the quality of student housing, something that is also principally important to Shelter.

Cause-related marketing

The relationship is a great example of CRM in action - when a student books a room with UNITE, a donation is made to Shelter. So not only is UNITE committed to improving the quality of student accommodation they are also making a stand against homelessness and bad housing.

Campaigning

We hope to broaden the scope of the relationship in the coming year, offering up our events and products to UNITE staff and students alike, as well as involving them in our campaigning work, something that has traditionally been very relevant to students.
