Our board of Trustees guides the direction and management of Shelter. Trusteeship is voluntary, and Trustees are people whose skills, experience and personal qualities mark them out for management of the charity.

Paola Barbarino

Paola is Director of Development and External Relations at Cass Business School. She is also a Trustee of MLA London.

>Julie Bentley

Julie Bentley

Julie has held senior leadership positions in a range of charities over the past fifteen years. She is currently Chief Executive at national sexual health charity the Family Planning Association (FPA).

>Professor A D H Crook

Professor A D H Crook (Chair)

Tony is Emeritus Professor of Town & Regional Planning and also former Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Sheffield. He is also a director of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, Orbit Housing Group, and the Academy of Social Sciences.

Sharon Flood

Sharon Flood

Sharon has been Finance Director at John Lewis since June 2005. She is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the charity Kids in Need of Education.

Rosemary Hilary

Rosemary Hilary

Rosemary is Director of Internal Audit at the Financial Services Authority where she has worked since its inception. She was previously at the Bank of England.

Jon Kenworthy

Jon Kenworthy

Jon is a partner in the international law firm DLA Piper where he advises on equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.

Kelvin MacDonald

Kelvin MacDonald

Kelvin MacDonald is a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Department of Land Economy, Cambridge University, and a specialist adviser to several House of Commons Select Committees.

Dom McKenna

Dom McKenna

Dom is Corporate Development Director of Freightliner Group. He previously held senior roles at Smiths News plc, Arriva plc and Royal Mail Group, encompassing mergers & acquisitions, operations, business development and major change.

Hugh Norton

Hugh Norton (Vice Chair)

Hugh worked for BP in various locations throughout the world for 36 years, and was Executive Director at the time of his retirement.

Denis Robertson Sullivan

Denis Robertson Sullivan

Denis is a former trade union official and editor of the Scottish Educational Journal. Directorships have included First Scottish public affairs consultancy and First Scottish media training company.

John Rogerson

John Rogerson

John is chair of New Prospect Housing Limited in Manchester and is on the Board of Home in Scotland. He served on the Board of Stonham Housing Association, and on the Board of Tower Hamlets Housing Action Trust.

Gavin Sanderson

Gavin Sanderson

Gavin is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds UK and global leadership roles in people and change consulting. He advises leading FTSE100 companies on strategy, governance, organisational and behavioural change.

Ian Wall

Ian Wall

Ian is a chartered surveyor and Chair of the Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum. He is also on the Board of Glasgow Housing Association.
