Whether you're a home owner or a tenant, saving energy will help you save money on your fuel bills. This section looks at ways you can improve your home to make it more energy efficient. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to get a grant to help pay for insulation and heating to make your home warmer and more fuel efficient.

Energy Assistance Package

The Energy Assistance Package (EAP) is a new scheme introduced by the Scottish Government to help reduce fuel bills and improve the energy efficiency of homes in Scotland. It was introduced in April 2009 and replaces the central heating and warm deal programmes.

Carbon emissions reduction target

The carbon emissions reduction target (CERT) runs various schemes across the UK to help tenants and home owners pay for insulation and other fuel saving measures.
