Accident sickness and unemployment (ASU) insurance is a type of insurance. It's sometimes referred to as mortgage payment protection insurance, but is not to be confused with mortgage protection insurance. ASU is insurance cover that would keep up your mortgage repayments for a time if you were unable to work because of illness, accident or redundancy.
