Comment from Shelter Scotland on Alex Neil MSP’s promotion to Cabinet Secretary in the Scottish Government.
Graeme Brown, director of Shelter Scotland says:
“Alex Neil MSP proved himself to be an able housing minister in the last Scottish Government and we congratulate him on his appointment to the post of Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment.
“We also welcome the fact that housing is now brought back into cabinet as part of a portfolio that includes infrastructure and capital investment at a time when discussions are taking place on new powers that would enable additional investment in priority capital projects such as much needed affordable homes.”
