2012: Is Scotland's house in order

With the deadline for the 2012 commitment to end homelessness in Scotland less than two years away, are we doing enough to make it happen?

This conference will look at best practice by local authorities in meeting the acclaimed commitment and – with the Scottish Government’s Annual Homelessness Statistics due to be published at the end of August – provide a first opportunity to analyse whether one year closer to 2012 has brought us any nearer to delivering on the most progressive homelessness legislation in Europe.

Throughout the day speakers and workshops will look at the role of housing associations, the private rented sector and house builders and what responsibility we all have to ensure Scotland’s homeless people can find a home.
