The Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group (EUSOG) is showing it’s support for Shelter Scotland by donating money raised from their current production.

The group aims to help causes and raises awareness for various organisations through their theatre productions, and we’re pleased to announce they have selected Shelter Scotland as the charity for this year’s production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

They are staging Bertolt Brecht’s dark musical ‘The Threepenny Opera’ at Augustine’s (Venue 152) on George IV Bridge. The group hope to repeat the success of last year’s sell out runs of ‘Rent’ and ‘Pirates of Penzance’, both of which received 5 star reviews.

The show runs from 17-22nd and 24-30th August. Tickets are on sale now – available directly from the venue or the Fringe box office. For more details on the current production and on the Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group, visit their website.
