Two comedians from this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe have kindly donated proceeds from their shows to Shelter Scotland.

Kevin Bridges, one of Scotland's top comedians, has kindly donated 50% of the proceeds from his extra show at the Pleasance Courtyard on the 29th of August - the other half going to Waverley Care. The event was also supported by Marlon Davis and Micky Flannegan.

Homelessness is a serious issue and I believe that everyone has the right to a home and comfortable and safe place to stay - Kevin Bridges

Rising star Sean Hegarty, from Northern Ireland, was appearing at the Festival for the first time this year and had a free show at Renroc cafe.

Sean also took the time to perform an exclusive in-store gig in the Tollcross Shelter shop on Friday 27th of August. Donations from all the shows were kindly made to Shelter Scotland, raising over £120.
