Shelter Scotland conference examines the housing bubble
23 May 2008

The state of Scotland’s housing market and its future was the focus of Shelter Scotland’s Housing Bubble conference on May 22.
Leading commentators on Scottish housing and the economy gathered to discuss issues around the current uncertainty in the housing market, house prices and affordability and the effect the current state will have on Scotland’s people.
The one day conference, chaired by economic journalist Peter Jones, included speeches from James Jopling, Head of External Relations at Shelter Scotland, Professor Steve Wilcox from the University of York and Brian Gegan, Chair of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.
The conference was a great success and generated some excellent media coverage including mentions on STV and BBC Radio Scotland.
