Joint Service Housing Advice Office (JSHAO)
JSHAO provides Service personnel and their families with information and advice on the housing options open to them while they are serving and when they are about to return to civilian life. JSHAO also provides help and information to ex-Service personnel who are still in Service Families' Accommodation.
Royal British Legion Scotland
Provides welfare services, including housing assistance, to ex-service personnel and their families.
SSAFA Forces Help
National charity helping serving and ex-Service men, women and their families, including widows and widowers in need. Support can be financial, practical or emotional.
Veterans Agency
Veterans Agency is the single point of contact within the Ministry of Defence for providing information, help and advice on issues of concern to veterans and their families. It does this through its free helpline 0800 169 2277. The Agency provides advice on a wide range of subjects including benefits and welfare issues, pensions and compensation, Service records and medals.
