Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE)
COHRE promotes and protects the right to housing for everyone, everywhere. COHRE's work involves housing rights training; research and publications; monitoring, preventing and documenting forced evictions; fact-finding missions; housing and property restitution; women's housing rights; active participation and advocacy within the United Nations and regional human rights bodies and activities in all regions of the south.

Chartered Institute of Housing
Professional body for those who work in housing. The organisation offers professional development and training as well as information on the development of policy and practice in Scotland.

Communities Scotland
Communities Scotland is a Scottish Government agency. It works to regenerate disadvantaged communities, helping to deliver better housing. In addition it regulates and inspects all registered social landlords and the housing, homelessness and factoring functions of local authorities.

HomePoint
HomePoint, part of Communities Scotland, works to improve the standard of housing information and advice provision throughout Scotland by supporting providers of housing information and advice services.

HomeSwapper
UK's largest community of social tenants looking to swap homes. Home Swapper is for social tenants looking for a house swap (often called a 'mutual exchange') whether it is a housing association or council house exchange.

Rural Housing Service
A national charity which helps rural communities to develop practical solutions to local housing problems.

Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA)
The SFHA site contains information on all registered housing associations in Scotland, as well as news, publications, conferences and events, an in-house consultancy service and links to many partner organisations. Further information can be found in the members' only section.
