Knowledge, understanding and views of homelessness amongst service providers
Conclusion
In conclusion, the results of the questionnaire provide a mixed report of how well placed service providers are to delivering on the 2012 target. While there is clearly a will to deliver on the objectives, there is considerable concern about how to get there. It is clear that homelessness services cannot deliver these objectives in isolation, and that there is a wider social services responsibility in terms of providing a co-ordinated response and delivering services to minimise the impact of (and lessen the likelihood of repeating) the experience of homelessness.
