Legal & General and Shelter have launched an exclusive membership scheme for Legal & General Mortgage Club brokers.
The scheme is simple. Brokers donate part of their income towards Shelter’s work with homeless and badly housed people.
In exchange, brokers get membership of an industry-wide community and the knowledge that their contribution is making a real difference.
Small change. Big difference.
Housing is our business. But for every person helped to buy or rent a property, there is someone else living in fear of eviction or repossession, and many thousands more who have no permanent place to call home. In the first three months of 2011 the number of homes repossessed across the UK rose by 15 per cent.
