The fourth Gimme Shelter event was held in Glasgow and Edinburgh over the weekend of 29th and 30th November 2008, and was a storming success.

The events featured a stellar line-up of the cream of Scottish signed and unsigned talent.

At the Caves in Edinburgh, 300 happy fans watched the best of Scottish up and coming bands, including Broken Records, De Rosa, Steve Mason, Found, Wake the President, Jesus H Foxx, Withered Hand and Kat Healy. And at Mono in Glasgow, for the St. Andrew's Day special, acts included Frightened Rabbit, Manda Rin, Juno!, De Rosa, Findo Gask, Woodenbox with a Fistful of Fivers, and many more.

Thanks to all who took part in the Gimme Shelter weekend, especially those staff and volunteers without whose hard work it wouldn't have happened, and we look forward to seeing you next year for another great Gimme Shelter weekend.
