Trek the South Downs
With a variety of routes and distances to choose from, this fantastic walk in the spectacular South Downs is open to everyone.
The walk takes place on 15 May 2010.
Whether you want to take on the challenge of a 60km route or a more gentle 20 km walk, you’re guaranteed to pass through some of the most stunning countryside in England.
There’s a fantastic atmosphere on the day as hundreds of people set off in support of their favourite charity. You’ll be supported all the way with refreshments on route and hot food on the 40km and 60km distances. A perfect day out for families or experienced hikers alike while raising vital funds for Shelter’s important work.
It’s
easy to get involved, simply choose your route below and pay a
registration fee of between £15 - £65 depending on the route you
choose, then raise as much money as you can for Shelter. Contact Hannah

The BIG 60km Route
If you are looking for a real challenge then this is the route for you. The route takes you through some of the most stunning countryside in Britain with picturesque villages and towns such as Arundel along the way.
NEW 40km Route
If you feel the BIG challenge above is just a little too far, this route would suit you perfectly. It captures the first half of the 60km route and then drops back down to the finish.
20km Route
The gentle 20km is suitable for all ages and great for walking with a family or group of friends to raise money for Shelter. This route takes you through some of the picturesque villages of West Sussex as well as along the beautiful South Downs.
10km Route
Get a taste of the Just Walk Event and take part in this great family day out where you can raise funds for Shelter by completing the 10km walking challenge.
