Shelter Scotland Committee
The Shelter Scotland Committee is a sub-committee of Shelter's Board of Trustees. The Committee's role is to support the Shelter Divisional Management Team by using its Scotland-specific knowledge, expertise and presence.

Rob Hayward
Chair
Rob Hayward is a strategy consultant. With experience across commercial, non-profit and international development sectors, Rob specialises in organisational ethics and culture.
Rob is Chief Operating Officer at Principia Advisory, the leading ethics and culture consultancy. Rob is Chair of the Shelter Scotland Committee.

Ros Micklem
Ros is a management coach and a non-executive board member of two public authorities, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Scottish Legal Aid Board. She was previously a college principal and then Scotland Director of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.

Linda Bendle
Linda is Operations Manager of Heavy Sound C.I.C, a social enterprise specialising in engaging vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in music and creative arts projects.
Linda has over 20 years experience in housing and property matters, having previously been the Managing Director of a large letting agency. Linda combines this in depth knowledge with first-hand experience of homeless issues.
Linda is a Board member of Community Justice Scotland, addressing the prevention and reduction of offending throughout Scotland.

Tony Cain
Now working as the Policy Manager for the Association of Local Authority Chief Housing Officers (ALACHO), Tony’s career includes work in both central and local government and the Scottish Housing Regulator. His previous post as Head of Housing and Customer Service with Stirling Council included strategic control of customer service, equalities, internet communications and advice.

Ewen Fleming
Ewen Fleming has 35 years' experience within the financial services sector. He is now a Partner of Grant Thornton UK LLP and leads the UK Banking team and the wider Financial Services Consulting team in Scotland. Ewen has experience at Retail Board level in both RBS and Santander UK and a track record of leading and executing several major and challenging change initiatives whilst simultaneously owning and driving sustainable operational results.

Douglas White
Douglas is Head of Advocacy at the Carnegie UK Trust where he leads the organisation’s work across a number of public policy fields. He has previously held positions at Consumer Focus Scotland and Blake Stevenson Ltd and has more than a decade of experience of working in policy and research. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
