Shelter Scotland support service: South Lanarkshire
Our South Lanarkshire Support Service offers practical and emotional support for families living within the South Lanarkshire Council area, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Types of support we can offer:
liaison with your homeless officer, school, social work (if needed), health services and other support services
advice on money, debt, and budgeting
someone to go with you to view offers of accommodation
help to prepare for a move and source funding for furniture and goods for your new home
help getting to know your new area, for example finding new schools or local support services
Support Service South Lanarkshire is run in partnership with South Lanarkshire Council. Our Service is regulated and inspected by the Care Inspectorate in accordance with the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, Part 5.
