Shelter Scotland Response - Reviewing Shelter Scotland’s West Community services through an anti-racist lens

This document is a response to the findings included within the published review of our services. We accept the findings of the report into our services, and we are keen to continue engaging with those findings as part of our journey to maintaining and developing our anti-racist commitments.

The review included much of the positive experiences Black and People of Colour faced, as well as areas we could improve. This response focuses on the changes we will make but we will also endeavour to highlight the positive practices, policies and behaviours highlighted throughout to ensure staff understand what they should continue to do – and that senior management understand this is an important and valued part of the service that should be supported and resourced.
