This half-day Shelter seminar, held in Glasgow on 14 June 2007, aimed to update advisers' skills on dealing with repairs cases in relation to the new Repairing Standard for housing in the private rented sector. Speakers explained the new standard and Private Rented Housing Panel which will begin in September.

This one-day Shelter conference, held in Edinburgh on 24 May 2007, aimed to set out the housing challenge in Scotland for the next parliamentary term and beyond. High profile speakers from all housing sectors were invited to explain their priorities during the next four years.

2012: the end of rural homelessness

This one-day Shelter conference, held in Dumfries on 29 January 2007, was held to share experiences and discuss solutions and innovations to a wide range of rural housing issues. The event also looked to the future to tackle the lack of affordable housing in rural Scotland.
