Thousands of you have signed petitions, written to politicians, shared your own experiences and stood with us in the fight for a safe and secure home for everyone in Scotland.
Here's some of what we've achieved together — and why we can't stop now.
Declaration of a housing emergency
In May 2024, after more than 10,000 of you signed our open letter and tens of thousands more added your voice, the Scottish Government declared a national housing emergency.
This was a landmark moment — and a direct result of the pressure you helped us build.
Our impact across Scotland
Thanks to your support, 13 local authorities in Scotland have declared a housing emergency.
And thanks to your impact, in January 2026, the First Minister announced the creation of a national housing agency which aims to increase the scale and pace of building social homes.
How you helped
Time and again, you continue to show up and fight for home.
In the last year, thousands of you got involved and sent the message that Scotland needs more social housing.
