Food fundraising ideas

Your fundraising helps us fight for people in unsuitable and unsafe housing conditions.

Whether you’re cooking or baking, experimenting with new ingredients or creating clever recipes, you understand that our kitchens mean so much to us. It's where we cook and feed our friends and family, and it’s where we make memories.

Could you use your food skills to fundraise for us? You could organise a wine tasting, bake sale, or chilli-eating challenge? All the money you raise helps us fight for the right to a safe, stable, and secure home.

Food fundraising tips

Make the most of your food fundraising challenge. You can:

  • hold a dinner party or food sale. Ask your guests to donate what they would have spent in a restaurant or café

  • use your networks. Some people might prefer to help cook or bring baked goods to sell, others may prefer to donate

  • be safe. Research food hygiene and ask people about allergies in advance

  • turn your challenge into a competition – ask people to bake the best cake to win

  • encourage your supporters to add Gift Aid to their donations
