Mobile Homes Act 1983
This section discusses the rights of someone who owns a mobile home but rents the pitch on which it is sited. Rights for mobile home owners (those who rent the pitch but own the mobile home) are contained in the Mobile Homes Act 1983.
The Act only applies to occupiers whose home meets the definition of a 'mobile home' and who live on a protected site. The mobile home must be their main or principal residence. The Act covers all agreements between site owners and mobile home occupiers, whenever they commenced.
