Consultation on Housing Support for Homeless Households
Shelter Scotland welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Scottish Government's consultation on how the housing support duty for homeless households, brought in by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010, will be implemented.
Shelter Scotland believes that housing support is a critical part of provision of housing to homeless households and key to the prevention of future homelessness. This legislation ensures that all homeless households will get the housing support they need to sustain their tenancy and commencement of legislation should be progressed as soon as possible.
