The Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in loss of income and increased financial pressure for many. Renters are struggling to meet their housing costs and are vulnerable to losing their home as a result.

It is important that people are supported to stay in their homes as we move out of the pandemic and the emergency protections and the job retention scheme comes to an end. Shelter Scotland’s recommendations for how this can be done are set out in this briefing.
