Edinburgh Community Hub Impact Report 2017-18

This report summarises and analyses the work and context of Shelter Scotland's Edinburgh Community Hub in 2017/18, including the local area homelessness statistics, the impact of our advice and support, and our policy recommendations.

Last year, 2,201 people from Edinburgh approached Shelter Scotland for help.

Edinburgh Community Hub, based at 6 South Charlotte St, provides specialist advice and person-centred support to members of the public facing housing concerns. Edinburgh has its own local concerns, and Shelter Scotland delivers support in line with these specific issues.

It has been a busy and significant year across several fronts at Shelter Scotland. Our work continues to ensure that people across Scotland can assert their right to a safe and secure home. As we mark our 50th anniversary in 2018/19 we will keep fighting to ensure there is a home for everyone.
