Open Letter: Not in Our Name

Open letter from Scottish civic society, signed by Shelter Scotland, outlining serious concerns with the UK Government's proposed Nationality and Borders Bill.

We are proud to have signed this important statement - alongside more than 60 other
Scottish organisations - against the Nationality and Borders Bill, asking MSPs to vote
tonight to refuse consent to this legislation.
If passed this law will criminalise and harm survivors; we cannot stand by and do
nothing:
“We must act to use the powers we have to object in the strongest possible terms, to
push back and stand with our fellow human beings through practical action.”
