By: Shelter Scotland  Published: November 2018

This report summarises and analyses the work and context of Shelter Scotland's Glasgow Community Hub in 2017/18, including the local area homelessness statistics, the impact of our advice and support, and our policy recommendations.

Summary

Last year, 3,080 people from Glasgow approached Shelter Scotland for help.

Glasgow Community Hub, based at 116 Osborne Street, provides specialist advice and person-centred support to members of the public facing housing concerns. Glasgow has its own local concerns, and Shelter Scotland delivers support in line with these specific issues.

ยท         It has been a busy and significant year across several fronts at Shelter Scotland. Our work continues to ensure that people across Scotland can assert their right to a safe and secure home. As we mark our 50th anniversary in 2018/19 we will keep fighting to ensure there is a home for everyone.
