Shelter Scotland Policy Paper - More Homes Scotland

Shelter Scotland commissioned the UK Collaborative Centre for Housing Evidence (CaCHE) to set out options for the government's proposed new housing agency. This paper sets out Shelter Scotland's policy position in light of this research, offering our view that the new Agency must have a long-term objective of reducing affordable housing need in Scotland, with government intervention and public investment focused on driving public gain, and putting social benefit over private profit.
