We're happy to take donations when we're open, but please don't leave any items outside the shop when we're closed.

You can make your donation go further by adding Gift Aid. Ask in the shop for more details or find out more about Gift Aid.

Items we can accept

  • good quality second-hand clothes

  • books and games

  • good quality furniture*

  • small electrical items*

*please check before bringing in furniture or electrical items, not all shops can accept them.

Items we cannot accept

  • items in poor condition

  • baby equipment

  • white goods, for example fridges and washing machines

  • upholstered items without a fire label

  • food and drink

Volunteer leaders needed

Are you good with people? Are you flexible and reliable?

We're looking for a volunteer leader to support our shop manager. This role involves taking on some responsibility, particularly in the manager's absence, so it requires regular commitment.

Jobs include:

  • opening the shop in the morning

  • operating the till, including refunds and voids

  • sorting donations

  • preparing items for sale

  • stock replenishment and displays

  • some computer work, for example Gift Aid processing

  • cashing up at the end of the day

Training will be provided.
