Supporter charter

Our supporter charter is our promise to you that we’ll use your donations carefully and responsibly. That means keeping support costs down, letting you know what difference your donations have made, keeping your personal data safe and secure, and always being transparent and fair in our fundraising.

We are part of the Fundraising Standards Board self-regulatory scheme, and we follow the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice as part of our commitment to fair, honest and open fundraising. We are also an accredited member of the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association (PFRA).

We give all of our face-to-face fundraisers in-depth training, as it’s extremely important to us that they follow the correct guidelines:

  • Having legible identification that’s prominently displayed.
  • Never deliberately misleading or confusing a member of the public.
  • Following the PFRA’s three step rule.
