What happens next
The homelessness officer will ask you questions about your situation and how you became homeless.
What to expect at the interview
During the assessment, you might be asked to provide more information about your situation.
The homelessness officer might need to speak to your landlord, doctor, probation officer, etc.
They will not speak to anyone you do not want them to, like an ex-partner.
The council's assessment
A decision letter explaining what help you're entitled to is usually sent within 28 days.
