Stage 3 debate briefing for the Land Reform (Scotland) Bil, March 2016

We broadly welcome the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill, however we believe the bill would be greatly strengthened with the inclusion of a Compulsory Sale Order power to help bring long term vacant and derelict land and property back into use. We are therefore very supportive of amendment 72 which Sarah Boyack MSP has brought forward at stage 3, to include a Compulsory Sale Orders power in this bill.
