How to become a Housing Hero

Shelter Scotland is on a mission to raise £100,000 in one year. To do this, we’re looking for 50 Housing Heroes to join a nationwide movement.

You can take part as a team of heroes (with friends from your school or religious group, or colleagues from work) or go it alone as a solo fundraiser – the important thing is that you raise £2,000 towards our grand target.

Did you know?

Your £2,000 could fund our Shelter Scotland helpline for a whole day and every last penny will stay in our Scottish funding pot.

We’ll help you, every step of the way

When you sign your group up to become Housing Heroes, we’ll give you a personal mentor. They’ll help with fundraising ideas, how to promote yourself and all the boring organisational bits. Once you complete your heroic journey – braving sponsored fun-runs, cake sales and bike rides – we’ll present you with an official Housing Hero certificate.
