The research explores the income and expenditure of local authority homelessness teams through in-depth, qualitative interviews with 15 (47%) Scottish local authorities.

Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Bill: stage 2 briefing
Shelter Scotland support this bill and welcome the move to modernise and simplify the tenancy for private renters in Scotland, in particular we welcome increased security of tenure introduced through the abolition of "no fault" eviction. Empty Homes Financial Incentives Recommendations 2016
Part of the Scottish Empty Homes Partnership's agreed remit for 2015/16 is to review existing funding and financing options for empty homes work in Scotland and follow this up with a paper highlighting where financial products or government funding is needed to bridge the gap keeping empty homes vacant.
