We broadly welcome the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill, however we believe the bill would be greatly strengthened with the inclusion of a Compulsory Sale Order power to help bring long term vacant and derelict land and property back into use.

Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Bill: stage 2 briefing

Shelter Scotland support this bill and welcome the move to modernise and simplify the tenancy for private renters in Scotland, in particular we welcome increased security of tenure introduced through the abolition of "no fault" eviction.
