No experience is necessary, and you'll receive safe and expert guidance throughout.

You must be at least 16 years old to take part, with written permission from an adult if you're 16 years old.

For participants' safety, there's a weight limit of 18 stone (114 kilos).

Fundraise for Shelter Scotland

The Northern Lights Tower abseil is an amazing opportunity to be part of a special fundraising event to fund vital expert support and advice to those affected by the housing emergency. Help defend the right to a safe permanent home.

There are no registration fees for this event. The minimum fundraising amount is £200 – this means you pledge to fundraise at least £200 for Shelter Scotland.

We recommend setting up a Just Giving page for online fundraising. If you don't already have a fundraising page, our community fundraising team can help you set one up once you've registered for the race.

You can ask people to sponsor you through your fundraising page or use a paper form.
