Raise money at school

We need your help to make this our biggest fundraising year yet.

Then we can help more children and families find a safe place to call home.

Since Shelter was founded in 1966, we’ve helped millions of people facing homelessness or bad housing. But there are still over 100,000 children homeless in Britain.

So we need your help.

The 50p Challenge

All we ask is that every child in your school raises at least 50p throughout the year. But we also hope they’ll encourage their friends to each donate 50p – and their mums, dads, grannies, grandads, neighbours, teachers too! Together we can make a big difference to homeless families.

As a huge thank you, we’ve got loads of useful things for you and your school. These include tailored lesson plans, posters and activities to help children develop new skills – and have fun.

You can find out more about our 50p challenge resources here.

Don’t forget to check back with us at the start of each term. We’ll keep adding new and fundraising ideas throughout the year.

We’ve got plenty to get you started - take a look.
